Sovereign Lighting Manufacturing

Responsive Website Design in Saint Augustine

Sovereign Lighting Manufacturing presented another unique challenge and allowed us to stretch our wings once more.

We built a catalog site that was also e-commerce but for industry trade clients only. We have built out their catalog product listing with comprehensive taxonomy and taken full advantage of Drupal's multi-level access controls to allow Sovereign's staff to see their own internal specs when viewing their inventory, and clients see only the specs they need to order.

We loved the opportunity to make another industrial site look as sexy as possible with much visual punch and to establish a trustworthy presence online for the company.

See the recent redesign; we replaced a flash site with something equally compelling. Visit the site online.

The Research Network on an Aging Society

Responsive Website Design in Saint Augustine

We work with The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York, and they came to us for this special project funded by a MacArthur Foundation grant. We were privileged to work with Dr. John "Jack" Rowe on this project and were successful in providing the Content Management System requested in a look and feel that was fitting for the subject.

The site was awarded a 2009 Big W from the Advertising Club of Westchester in the non-profit website category.

Historic Hudson River Towns

Historic Hudson River Towns

Historic Hudson River Towns website was a redesign and retrofitted using Drupal as a CMS. The site got a major face lift with the existing content transferred over for a smooth transition. We added our SEO to this site to boost the positions in the search engine results.
Although the site gets many visitors, the look and feel was in need of an update and some added elements to make it more search friendly such as a blog, RSS feeds, and a contact form.

Yonkers Public Library

Yonkers Public Library

The Yonkers Public Library website was recently published after we redesigned the site with a fresh new interface and a rebuilt architecture to make it a content management system (CMS). As one of the member libraries of the Westchester Library System, they had seen how we transformed the WLS site into a user-friendly site with freshly updated content and many nice features.

YPL holds almost the same exact content as before but the delivery and presentation has been improved to current standards and should be a useful, productive site for some time to come. The structure of the site is modular like most we design and built so additions and expansion will be likely. That will be a huge benefit to the YPL and its membership.

Babyface Interactive

Babyface Interactive

Our good friend and "ace" programmer, developer, and technological counsel is also the founder of Babyface Interactive. We have been working together with John Scilipote since 2006 and have collaborated on many projects.

We were given the opportunity to design a logo, and redesign BabyfaceInteractive.com. We were happy to help provide a fresh look and help present the services from one of the best programmers we've ever known.

The Bird & Bottle Inn

The Bird & Bottle Inn

One of the Hudson Valley's well known fine dining and unique lodging experiences is now well represented in this newly released website. The Bird & Bottle Inn located in Garrison, New York is only a few miles north of northern Westchester county. Once known as Warren's Tavern, it has been there since 1761, operating in the colonial days.

Our assignment was to accurately portray the warm and welcome atmosphere visitors experience when they enter the historic inn. We provided a CMS application that allows events, press releases, menus, and other content to be added, organized, and edited simply and easily by the Bird & Bottle staff. In addition to the design and development of the site, we also provided location photography.

We worked in collaboration with The Gold Standard who provided writing, photography, and direction on overall navigation and page flow.

Morgan Construction & Cabinetry, Ltd.

Morgan Construction & Cabinetry, Ltd.

When we saw the type of work they did, we were very excited to design the website for Morgan Construction & Cabinetry, Ltd. The success of a showcase site such as this relies heavily on photography and we were fortunate to have many source images. Of course it also depends on how those images are displayed.
We often aim to design marketing support that reflect the quality or level of service that our clients provide. For Morgan, this meant we would be designing an exquisite website. We go the distance for all of our clients just as they do for theirs.
We redesigned again recently in 2015 as a responsive site.

Page Integrity, Inc.

Page Integrity Website

Cathleen Page and Page Integrity, Inc. are strategic partners with GO2 Media Design, and we wholeheartedly advise anyone with a need for IT prowess and network, workflow, or workspace planning and organization, to call them today. The PI site is a fast reading showcase site to give a well organized comprehensive view of services and capabilities. Like the name says, they have great integrity so you can rely on them when it counts.

We lead off on the home page with the concept that just because you need technical assistance, you don't necessarily want a robot to deliver it. There are actually IT folks that are capable of understanding the business needs and concerns you may have. In other words, a geek squad sans geeks.

We were happy to hear that this was one of eleven websites that won a Big W award for 2009.

Westchester Dairy

Westchester Dairy

The "milkman" is back and his business has changed considerably. Delivering milk and other dairy products is done the old fashioned way but advertising and receiving orders has a brand new look and feel. Westchester Dairy & Distributors, LLC., came to us for creativity and a website that is now a firm foundation for their business online. We delivered some of our own tradition—100% pure creative juice served up with old-fashioned attention to detail and customer service. The result is a memorable website that is found in search engines with increasing traffic. We hear the cows are happy too.

Lori Lustig Logo

Logo Design St. Augustine, Graphic Design St. Augustine

Our client knew what she wanted before she walked in the door. Lori Lustig let us know from the start that this logo had to be quite special, of a particular color, and she needed to love it. We combined some straightforward type design with a very contemporary icon that represents the name and the type of business in one fell swoop.

Whew! That may seem overwhelming to some but we thought it sounded like fun and we loved the challenge. We were successful on all levels. We weren't the only ones either, the logo won a Big W Award from the Advertising Club of Westchester in 2008.

Surgical Design

Surgical Design - The worlds leading innovators in Intraocular Microsurgery

Surgical Design is reaching out to a global marketplace providing advanced surgical systems for cataracts and vitrectomy surgery since 1968.

We wanted to create a site that reflected their existing marketing collateral consisting of sell sheets and brochures. It is very technical in nature so we wanted to present it in a way that was easy to navigate, easy to read, and visually stimulating. The site contains an online troubleshooting guide added recently providing valuable information to their client base where they previously had to send out paper versions by mail.

The Surgical Design website was awarded a Big W from the Advertising Club of Westchester in 2009 for Interactive Media: Business to Business website.

Our clients say...

2006: "We spent 3 years paying a company to submit our website to search engines and during those years, we could count on 1 hand the number of phone calls we received from internet exposure. We contracted Timothy Wood Design, and Tim Wood, a designer who introduced us to the real importance of a complete website design, including a good looking, easy to use website and an accessible one. The search engines pick us up and our clients find us. Now we receive multiple calls a day from purchasers looking for signage. Thanks to Tim Wood and his knowledge and hard work, we have absolutely seen an increase in our sales due to our internet exposure."
2009: "You are our only source of marketing, we don't need anything else. What we pay you is nothing compared to what we get in return"
