How much does a website cost?
If you're like me, you want to know costs for my business needs. I want to know so I can plan and make decisions that will improve sales and help build efficiencies that allow us to better serve our clients. I never mind paying if I'm getting something valuable.
When it comes to estimating cost for a website, there are variations that dictate that cost. One size does not fit all. There are some considerations needed to defined first. What is the purpose of the site? Online sales by e-commerce? What are you selling? Is the site only to raise awareness? Will you collect data from visitors to develop sales leads? Are you offering a service and showcasing examples? Do you want aggressive search engine optimization (SEO)? What is your targeted audience and where are they? What functions will be included?
We have to answer some of those questions to offer an accurate estimate so you know exactly what you'll be getting and how much it costs. Some sites are small and have one purpose; those will cost less that a site with mutliple functions and a broad audience. A website for a university will most likely cost far more than a local business. Content plays a part—do you have photography? Do you desire help with writing? Do you want to create, edit and manage your content and require a content management system (CMS)?
Every site we design and build is unique. We customize all of it and tailor it to your individual needs. We are experts and cover all aspects while realizing you may not understand how it works or confused by some of the terminology; you may have researched online and you're now overwhelmed by the incredible amount of information out there.
