Look 30 Years Younger in Seconds!

Here's a foolproof tip on how to take years off your "look"- and it is so simple. It doesn't cost a thing. There are no dangerous side effects. No recovery time. No pills or creams. Here it is...

Ready?

STOP adding two spaces after each sentence when you type! You are not only adding an unnecessary keystroke, you are dating yourself by about 30 years.

There was a great book out back in the mid eighties, "The MAC is not a typewriter". There is also the "PC" version... (see http://www.amazon.com/dp/0201782634) It covers the subject of how typewriters used to work with monospaced characters, and so it was necessary to type two spaces after each sentence. It was necessary because otherwise, you would never be able to detect where a sentence ended and one began. Now that we all use computers to "type", we can just forget that double space business and get on with things.

When we get text sent to us by clients as a Word document, I can tell how old that person is, (approximately- I'm a type afficianado, not Kreskin for God's sake...) Ooops.

OK, I won't use the The Amazing Kreskin as a reference anymore if you promise to stop hitting that space bar twice after each sentence.

Our clients say...

2006: "We spent 3 years paying a company to submit our website to search engines and during those years, we could count on 1 hand the number of phone calls we received from internet exposure. We contracted Timothy Wood Design, and Tim Wood, a designer who introduced us to the real importance of a complete website design, including a good looking, easy to use website and an accessible one. The search engines pick us up and our clients find us. Now we receive multiple calls a day from purchasers looking for signage. Thanks to Tim Wood and his knowledge and hard work, we have absolutely seen an increase in our sales due to our internet exposure."
2009: "You are our only source of marketing, we don't need anything else. What we pay you is nothing compared to what we get in return"
